Help! what to do for soccer tryouts?

im going to be a freshman. i will be trying out for soccer i want to make the JV team not the freshman team. so i have more play and improve. what should i do to practice before tryouts. its going to be hard tryouts because there are a lot of people that have played for years that are trying out. I have started running every morning. what else should i do?
