Help with cheerleading?!?
I made the 7th grade cheer squad this year and we had to have the same things!!! First, make sure you practice your motions and everytime you do make sure you are tightening your arms. Start to make that a habbit soo your motions will look clean when you tryout. Next, stretch alot to get your jumps good! Splits help alot! You dont have to have a full split to do it. Go down to where you can and it will stretch your body and make your jumps better. But you have to stretch often you cant just do it once and expect to have perfect jumps. In your back bend kick very hard and use all you lower body strength to kick over! Cheerleading is POWER! If you dont have a cartwheel and round-off i think you should might consider slipping into a little tumbling class to work on those things. I tryed to help you with all of my experience.
