High School Tennis Team!?

So I'm going to be a freshman this year. I've never played on a tennis team before, but I would LOVEE to be on the JV team at my high school. Women's Tennis -Tryouts Begin August 1st - 7:30 AM. If I practice a lot, do you think a beginner like me could get good enough??! Thank you!
