Whose side are you on in Wisconsin, the teachers or the teachers union?

I'm for the teachers and the teachers' union. I have no idea why you think a 5.8% pay cut is good for the teachers. The fact is that originally they agreed to accept less pay in order to get a better pension. Now the state has reneged on its part of the deal. It's called bad faith when you set out to break a contract. ∠°)
