Why would a good Christian say "I hope she was saved" after you told them about the death of your mother?

well your friend was a little stupid to blurt that out but she/he just wanted the best for your mom. I was taught that when you accept God into your heart he doesn't leave although she might have changed her mind God was still with her but do more research and see what you think.i would probably be mad also, dont take it offensively or just tell ur friend how you felt when he/she said that to you so they dont do it again!
