Should I go to a party of a fake friend and insecure family?

I'd tell her how you really feel about her and come clean. Then when she inevitably gets mad at you, because your analysis is accurate, cut ties. People aren't always worth the effort.. And in a way your doing her a disservice by "pretending" to be her friend. It really is messed up..
