Help! Dad's a late stage alcoholic...?

Have you looked into options for rehab? That's really the only thing I can think of that might help. They'll get him off the alcohol and into therapy, and give him more of a chance of stopping drinking. If he has health insurance that might pay for part of it, or if he's low income you might be able to get it covered under Medicaid.
