Why do guys dislike lesbians?

I think its a difference in cultural expectations. In general, men are more scrutinized by other men for their homosexuality than women are for theirs. Our culture seems to celebrate lesbianism as empowering and good, while homosexuality in men is seen as ugly and vile. Of course, this is no excuse for animosity, but like other things, the internet brings out what can't be said in public.
