Ultimatums should be your last resort. Try to make him understand, that a baby to the age of five or six is best nurtured by it's mother. Studies have shown that children raised by their mothers are more adjusted than those that a dumped at day cares. Not only that, how much does a day care cost in your area? I would suggest that both of you have a comm discussion about the pros's and cons about child care. And maybe offer to have both your names on the mortgage! Good luck.
